Dear Prospective Parent,

Thank you for your interest in Kingsway Christian Academy. KCA is a ministry of Faith Creation Fellowship, an independent, interdenominational church, which has served the Pine Hills community for over 25 years. The school has been operating as Kingsway Christian Academy since 2001 and was formerly Orlando Christian School. The church meets here in the gymnasium each Sunday at 10am and we would like to welcome you to worship with us if you are looking for a home church. We feel it is very important that each child and each family are involved in their local church. We desire our school to reinforce that which is being taught in the church and in the Christian home.

Kingsway Christian Academy is associated with the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. We offer Pre-K 3 and 4 year old classes as well as Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our current enrollment is 488 students in the K3-8th grades. We also offer Extended Daycare before and after school and summer camp for those students enrolled at KCA.

Our main goal is the spiritual development of a student to meet his or her fullest potential in Christ. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) We do this by diligently teaching the A Beka curriculum in its entirety. This curriculum is an accelerated and challenging Bible based curriculum with the Word of God being integrated throughout the different subjects being taught. We expect the behavior of each student to be conducive to a positive learning environment. Also, all of our teachers are born again Christians who profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Extracurricular activities include Art, P.E., and Library. Students in 4th – 8th grades may try out for our sports programs which include Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheerleading. The school also participates in the A.C.Y.S. Soccer League. The 2nd – 8th grades enjoy computer class, and Spanish classes are offered in the middle school. Private piano lessons are taught for a small fee. Each year the students participate in our annual Christmas musical, Sweetheart Pageant, and an end of the year awards ceremony.

We have a high standard of academic excellence. Annually, our students rank above average on the nationally ranked Standardized Achievement Test. Upon graduation, our students take with them an outstanding reputation to local public and private schools in the area. We hold a great standing throughout the community and obtain most of our new students by referral and word of mouth. We take great pride in our school and continuously strive to be one of the best Christian schools in Central Florida.
